We invite you to join us at Winterfest on November 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Downtown Carleton Place and the Market Square Pavilion (7 Beckwith Street). Winterfest is a free, family-friendly event for all ages to kick off the holiday season.
Market Square Pavilion
- Locally Crafted Markets presents an outdoor holiday market
- The Rona Warming Station with fire and entertainment
- Cavanagh Construction Truck for photos and food bank donations
- Holiday ornament craft and photo areas
- Food vendors: woodfire pizza, warm drinks, pretzels, and fudge
Tree Lighting
Join Carleton Place Citizen of the Year Peter Schaffer, who will do the honours of lighting the Holiday Tree! Tree lighting will commence at 5:55 p.m.

Enjoy carolling pop-ups while you pop in and out of stores. Keep an eye out for The Grinch! He will be wandering through Downtown Carleton Place causing Christmas mischief and handing out treats.
Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
The Downtown Carleton Place proudly presents free wagon rides. Hop on or off in front of the Market Square, and enjoy an enchanting ride through Downtown Carleton Place.
