Friday, October 3
4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. — Market Square Pavilion & Downtown Carleton Place.
- Enjoy the evening night market with dozens of vendors showcasing handmade wares and delicious treats at Market Square Pavilion (7 Beckwith Street).
- Experience thrilling busker and musical entertainment, featuring Kobbler Jay, Skylar Radmore, Boots the Troll, and Julie Perron Laflamme.
- Stroll the downtown core for sidewalk and in-store sales.
- Cap off the evening with an outdoor screening of the 1985 cult classic The Goonies in the Market Square parking lot — bring your chair!
- Visit the Information Centre (170 Bridge Street) for cider and the Autumn Leaf Hunt.
Saturday, October 4
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. — Carleton Junction & Downtown Carleton Place
- Sign up for the Fall Harvest Shelter Run and take part in a 5K race down the Ottawa Valley Recreation Trail. Register for the Royal LePage 5K Harvest Fun Run.
- Test your skills with the obstacle course.
- Take the Bus on Us! Park at the Rona parking lot (535 McNeely Ave) for free shuttle service downtown.
- Visit Carleton Junction (42 Moore Street) for pumpkin-themed activities, including Monkey Rock Music (10:30 a.m.) and the Circus Delight Magic Show (12:30 p.m.).
- Visit Mother Hen’s Petting Zoo.
- Play mini putt with the Carleton Place Fire Department!
- Say hello to the Carleton Place Canadians Jr. A Hockey Team.
- Visit the Rona team for activities and free face painting.
- Experience “Against the Grain” at the Carleton Place Gallery.
- Hop on the Double Decker bus to see Carleton Place (10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).
- Visit the Carleton Place Information Centre (170 Bridge Street).
- Meet photographers outside the Information Centre for a Fall Colours Photography Walk.
- Enjoy local buskers performing music outside the Information Centre from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 5
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. — Carleton Junction & Downtown Carleton Place
- Visit Carleton Junction (42 Moore Street) for family activities, including the Meet the Keepers Exotic Animals Show (10:30 a.m.) and the Circus Delights Magic Show (12:30 p.m.).
- Visit the Rona team for activities and free face painting.
- Head to the Market Square Pavilion for the Vendors Market with live music, plus a Luxury & Exotic Car Show from True CEC.
- For the hockey fans: end your day at the Carleton Place Arena with a Jr. A Canadians game against the Hawkesbury Hawks at 3:00 p.m.
- For the music lovers: end your day at the Carleton Place Arena as the Festival of Small Halls presents Canadian entertainers The Rowdymen at 2:30 p.m. Get tickets.
- Visit the Carleton Place Information Centre (170 Bridge Street).
