Silent Art Night
Have you heard about the Silent Book Clubs where people meet at a public location, chat for a few minutes, and then read in silence for the rest of the evening? We’re doing something just as fun this fall for all those introverts out there!
Get out of the house and “meet” some new people without the pressure of having to do more than just say hello. Join us on Tuesday, September 23rd from 6-7:30pm at the library for a night of silent art-ing. Bring along whatever you’re working on—a painting, your sketchbook, that blanket you’re crocheting—and do it quietly in a room full of other people who love to create, but don’t want the pressure of having to make conversation. Maybe it’ll happen naturally, but expect to just “art” with us for a bit and then go home. Maybe you’ll meet a new coffee friend, or maybe you’ll just get out of the house for a while.
Whatever the reason, we’d love to see you on Tuesday, September 23rd.
