Since 2006, Carleton Place has proudly hosted one of Canada’s most well-attended rural Take Back the Night marches. Year after year, our community comes together—rain or shine—with banners, signs, and noisemakers to send a powerful message: everyone deserves to live free from violence and fear.**]]
Take Back the Night is a longstanding movement that calls for an end to violence against women and affirms every woman’s right to walk safely in her community.

We encourage everyone to wear purple*or your LCIHCS swag to show your support. LCIHCS merchandise will be available for purchase at As Good As New during the week leading up to the event.
