DESCRIPTION:Canada Day in Carleton Place- July 1\, 2025 \n\nThe Town of Carleton Place invites you to spend Canada Day along the Mississippi River\, as we celebrate Canada Day with an assortment of live music\, food\, and family fun from 12:30pm – 10:15pm. \nLive Entertainment Includes: \n\nThe Carleton Place & District Community Band (1:00pm)\, Tommy Tonic(2:15pm)\, Lanark County Revival(3:45pm)\, The Rembros(5:15pm)\, The Bowes Brothers(6:45pm)\, Small Town Socials(8:15pm) \nFireworks Display: Begins at 9:45pm and is approximately 15 minutes in length. \n\nFamily Activities Include:\nAirbounce Inflatables (1:00pm – 7:00pm)\, Craft/Activity Area (1:00pm – 7:00pm)\, Parrot Partners Meet & Greet (3:00pm – 5:00pm)\, Strolling Busker Performers (5:00pm – 9:00pm)\, Games On A Truck (6:00pm – 9:00pm)\, and more! \n\nRiverside Beach & Splash Pad:\nLifeguards on site at the beach from 9:30am – 6:00pm. Splash Pad & Washrooms remain open until 10:30pm. \n\nFood/Refreshment Vendors:\nVendors will be on-site from 12:00pm – 10:00pm. Please keep in mind that not all vendors accept card payment\, so it is suggested to bring some cash. \n\nVolunteering Opportunities: The help of many volunteers assists in making this event a success! DESCRIPTION:Admission – 15 dollars per carA Dash Plaque is available for the first 250 entries\nThe Carleton Place Lions are once again hosting the eagerly anticipated Wheels on the Mississippi Car Show. This event showcases a wide variety of classic and rare automobiles along the beautiful Mississippi River. We were rained out in 2024 and thus this year we will have a rain date of June 29th if needed. Our 2023 event had 272 cars on display\, we are hoping to break 300 this summer.\nThe money we raised is returned to the communityWe hope to see you all there.
